Finding Painting Contractors

Painting is probably the most common of all home repairs. It's amazing what a difference a fresh coat makes. Finding contractors to do the work, however, is another story. It seems that everyone believes they can paint. Carpenters, sheet rockers, handy men; no problem. The fact is doing the job right still requires some knowledge and skills. I've found that the best way to find the good ones is word of mouth. Ask your neighbors. Everyone is always more than happy to brag on the guy they used and, sometimes, he might actually be as great as they say. Like all other contractors, it's still important to do your homework before hiring someone.
